This site is an information and shopping website where you can browse, select and purchase cattle, semen and embryos. Delivery of these items becomes the responsibility of the buyer.
The term ‘Sumo Wagyu’ or ‘Sumo Cattle Company’ ‘us’ or ‘we’ refers to the owner of the website Sumo Cattle Company (ABN: 945 620 952 33). The term ‘you’, ‘buyer’ or ‘customer’ refers to the user or viewer of our website.
The use of this website is subject to the following terms and conditions:
1.0 Compliance
By shopping on this website you agree to be bound by, and comply with, the below terms and conditions.
1.1 Use of this website and the purchase of products from www.sumowagyu.com is governed by the Laws of Queensland and Australia and by using this website you agree to comply with them.
If you are located outside Australia, it is your responsibility to ensure that the use of this website and the purchase of products from www.sumowagyu.com comply with the laws of your country.
1.2 All taxes, customs duties and other government fees and charges imposed on any products you purchase are your responsibility.
1.3 You agree not to use any images, content or data listed on the site for commercial purposes.
2.0 Content
While we endeavour to ensure that all information included on the website is correct, we will not be held responsible for any errors or omissions. If we are informed of any inaccuracies in the material on the website, we will correct this as soon as we reasonably can. Prices, descriptions, specifications and product availability may change at any time without further notification.
3.0 Your Account
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and password and for restricting access to your computer, and you agree to accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account or password.
3.1 Sumo Wagyu reserves the right to refuse service, terminate accounts, remove or edit content, or cancel orders in its sole discretion.

5.0 Pricing and Payments
All pricing is listed in Australia dollars and includes GST (Goods and Service Tax)
5.1 The purchase price of our products is subject to change from time to time without notification.
Subject to these terms and conditions we reserve the right to cancel an order if there is an error in the price or the product description listed on the website for the product in that order. Once we have accepted your order, we will not change any prices that apply to the products in that order.
5.2 Payments methods that are accepted online are credit card, direct transfer (EFT) or cheque.
5.3 If you choose to pay by credit card or you accept to our chosen financial institution debiting the amount payable from your card or bank account for your chosen order.
5.4 If you have chosen to make payment by cheque, please be aware that your order will not be released until the funds have been cleared into our bank account.
5.5 Any attempt to pay for orders through fraudulent or unlawful payment methods will not be tolerated, will be cancelled and referred to a fraud specialist of the chosen payment method.
6.0 Other businesses
Periodically, Sumo Wagyu website may list links to other websites for your convenience. The purpose of these links is to provide further information about products/ services. Links do not signify that we endorse the website(s) and therefore we have no responsibility for the content of the linked website(s).
7.0 Orders and Delivery
Each confirmed order placed online at Sumo Wagyu is subject to a binding agreement between you and us for the supply of the paid goods. For each order we will:
- Supply the products in accordance with our terms and conditions
- Send a confirmation of your order through email, however due to the nature of the internet we cannot guarantee receipt of this email. Please ensure you add Sumo Wagyu to your email contacts to ensure our correspondence is not filtered to your junk email.
- Contact your chosen Beef Breeding centre in which you prefer to Collect or Ship your semen or embryo order from. Sumo Wagyu is responsible for instructing Beef Breeding Brisbane or Rockhampton on the shipping location, however you are responsible for paying any additional shipping/ handling fees from these third party centres.
7.1 By placing and paying for an order with Sumo Wagyu you consent to either collecting your order from Beef Breeding Brisbane or Rockhampton or receiving the goods to your nominated delivery address through a third party freight carrier.
7.2 When placing an order with us, we may require you to provide us with additional details in order to confirm that order. In placing this order you consent to provide us with current and correct information.
7.3 We may, in certain circumstances be required to cancel any part of an order without any liability if any of the following occurs:
(a) The products in the order are unavailable
(b) There is an error in pricing or description of the listed product in the order
(c) The order is for huge quantities of the same product that is unable to be shipped by our third party freight companies.
(d) Your order is in breach of our terms and conditions
7.4 If we cancel any part of an order we will contact you through the telephone number or email address provided to us, within a reasonable time after the order is submitted.
7.5 You may cancel your order by contacting us on P: 07) 3715 6602 or at any time up until the product has been collected from Beef Breeding or shipped by a third party freight carrier. You will be advised by email as to when your item has been shipped.
Upon cancellation of the order we will refund you for the total cost of the order through your original payment method. If your item has already been shipped and we are unable to accept return or refund of this item.
7.6 We accept both domestic and international orders. Domestic orders must have a delivery location within mainland Australia or Tasmania. For international orders please email directly to confirm your order.
7.7 The delivery of all orders becomes the responsibility of the buyer. All costs including delivery, fuel and handling fees are to be paid for by the customer to their chosen freight company or collection point.
We will not be held responsible or liable to replace the goods if damages occur by the third party freight carrier.
8.0 Changes to Terms and Conditions
We reserve the right to change the above Terms and Conditions without prior notice at any time.
